Death - Beyond the Narrative; with Darin Stevenson
In this conversation, I, Cordula, speak with Darin Stevenson about our experiences with death and where common narratives and behaviors around it fall short. We explore our personal histories with the topic, novel perspectives, and shared ideas and feelings that lie beyond familiar concepts of birth, death, and what lies beyond life. Darin Stevenson is a cognitive activist, a researcher in linguistics and semantics, and an intelligence artist.
Sweeny vs Bard #65 Empire of Mind with Max Borders
As an invitation to Max Border's new course, Empire of the Mind: A Grey Robes Symposium, we had a wide-ranging discussion on the meaning of empire, the function of religion, sutra, tantra, and decentralization.
Course: Empire of the Mind: A Grey Robes Symposium (with Max Borders)
Begins Sunday, November 10 2024
What you will learn:
Growth. Story. Evil. Death. Solidarity.
These are not themes plucked from the sky but timeless universals we must either repress or confront. Without confrontation, we will not be prepared to reckon with the chaos—much less the chaos actors. So, when we say “Confront. Cultivate. Create.” the process begins with confrontation.
This can be jarring, as such themes operate in our Shadow.
Yet, we can no longer afford to stumble through life as zombies or automata herded along by powerful authorities in a fog of digital ennui. We must become embodied again and learn better to discern the malevolent forces around us without lapsing into crude Manicheaeism. We must confront death without inviting inescapable sadness or anxiety—until death confronts us.
Mental and spiritual readiness is as important as physical training and preparedness. Fundamentally, this course will invite you to steel your resolve and anneal your spirit to face troubled times. If we do not, our children and grandchildren could become milk cows hustled by pellets and prods.
This transformative five-part course is designed for those ready to confront existential realities, embrace counterpower, and join with others to construct an Empire of the Mind.
Course: Unique Self 2.0 – Portal 1: Intimacy, Eros, and Evolutionary Love (with Dr. Marc Gafni)
Begins Sunday, November 24 2024
Portal 1: This course serves as the first step in the larger long-term journey into the evolving landscape of your unique self, offering practices, insights, and community support to help you live your unique self in a deeper, more connected way.
This is the first portal in a multi-part, multi-year transformational journey through the Unique Self framework, designed to guide participants through personal evolution while contributing to the greater whole. Since the publication of Your Unique Self in 2011, the teachings have evolved significantly, reflecting the dynamic interplay between personal transformation and the unfolding of reality itself.
Each portal, or three-week course, dives deeply into a key aspect of your unique self story, offering practical insights and profound practices that help you live your unique self.
The first portal focuses on how the unique self relates to intimacy, eros, and evolutionary love, fostering deeper connection with yourself, others, and the cosmos.
