Please join us at Parallax Academy tonight for a presentation by Fanny Norlin, hosted by Andrew Sweeny.

Fanny Norlin has for the past ten years lived and breathed decentralised initiatives, where she, for the past five years, has specialised in the role the feminine and masculine play for leaders, organisations and the emerging society. She has created a framework that can help us cut through the culture wars and distorted versions of both polarities and unleash the power and creative potential between them. She is an engineer and economist, ex-C-level of one of Sweden’s largest and Europe’s most innovative e-commerce, a deep practitioner of decentralised leadership and a leader of the feminine leadership movement within the business world.

Public Event with Q&A

A discussion with philosopher and cognitive scientist John Vervaeke and his writing partner Christopher Mastropietro about the philosophers they love best: John's favourite philosopher Socrates and Christopher's Søren Kierkegaard. Since philosophy means ‘love of wisdom’, it seemed appropriate to ask them to talk about the character and the ideas of these two philosophers, which figure prominently in John’s epic new series After Socrates.

Dr. Gafni’s Unique Self Theory takes its full dimension as a new narrative of identity within the context of his articulation of CosmoErotic Humanism, a new movement of thought he and Dr. Zak Stein have developed over the past decade. These series of interviews with Andrew Sweeny will offer a solid overview of this new narrative of identity, and points to why Unique Self is the critical and necessary next step in the Evolution of Consciousness as a response to existential risk.

THE PARALLAX VIEW #82: EXCESS AND ABSENCE (WITH ALEX EBERT)
Alex Ebert is an American singer-songwriter, best known for being the lead singer and songwriter for the American band 'Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros'. He is a Golden Globe winning composer for the Robert Redford movie "All is lost". But most of all, Ebert is also a pretty deep and fascinating thinker and philosopher.
Tom Amarque and Andrew Sweeny invited him to The Parallax View to talk about "excess and absence", two core concepts of Ebert that interweave music and metaphysics and are entry-points to his worldview. Do it up.
