The FORGE
Create the future!
Do you want to change the future? Your future, our future?
Then start by changing the stories and perspekctives you live inside — together with others who are ready to do the same.
THE FORGE is a four-week participatory format by Parallax for people who sense that the future is not something we wait for, but something we actively shape — through perception, language, imagination, and collective meaning.
This is not a course in the traditional sense, nor a hub or incubator.
It is a shared transformation space — a liminal field where old narratives loosen, new perspectives emerge, and different futures become thinkable, speakable, and eventually livable.
The Forge unfolds as a consciously held liminal field, combining intellectual inquiry, ritualized reflection, and collective sense-making. Each cycle is guided by Layman Pascal, acting less as lecturer and more as mythotechnician and shamanic elicitor of change, helping participants attune to deeper personal and collective patterns — and realign them toward emerging futures.
The Forge is not about acquiring information. It is about activly shifting the lenses and narratives through which reality is interpreted and shaped — and thereby altering what futures become possible:
It is about making your personal/individual and social/collective goals a reality.
Across four weeks, participants engage in:
– Experiencing forging a reality with a ‘smart-group’ (a group that is smarter as any individual)
– Guided provocations and framing impulses
– Live dialogue and collective inquiry
– Narrative reframing and future-oriented sense-making
– A shared field where new perspectives can crystallize
– Spontaneous invocations of possible futures
The Forge is for those who sense that the future is not something we wait for, but something we participate in creating — through attention, language, imagination, and shared meaning.
Each iteration of the Forge is unique.
The content shifts. The questions evolve. What remains constant is the intention: to bring future into being.
